Curzon, at Coming Anarchy, rightly directs reader attention to Nathan at Registan( Argus) fisking the living hell out of a really dumb piece of blather about U.S. military bases, gas and oil in Central asia and China.

    I read it too. Perhaps, you may want to check a book by Prof Chalmers Johnson “The Sorrows of Empire.”

    Sorry, a follow up to my earlier post. I did a little checking on this guy’s claims of US bases in Central Asia. Interesting link came up.
