Austin Bay appears to censor critical–even jocularly so–comments on his blog. I posted a correction to his statements about Westphalia, and it never appeared. Same with some other comments I’ve attempted to leave. Not a big deal, in my view, insofar as people have a right to ensure that their blogs are echo chambers. But I thought you might want to know given your own views on critical thinking….

That would be a problematic practice in my view – and surprising since I know Austin likes a good debate and used to be a close reader of H-Diplo.

Austin has had comment problems of a technical nature – another milblogger whose views are in sync with Austin’s was dropped recently as well. If you like I’ll ask him about it, i have trouble believing that he has violent opposition to IR theorists of the Realist school :o)
