Great reads my favorite here is John Arquilla’s article where i am afraid he is correct in his assessment we are not prepared.  I always thought that if there is a time to be selfish in your life and take full advantage of a situation, it is when your country gives you a medal. I read a thread on Facebook where a sailor says it costs 85.00 to have his medals mounted. It seems to me there should be, at the very least, a tax break for something like that, although it probably would not help all that much when a guy or gal actually has to do something like that. I watched an interview of the Medal of Honor solder Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta. To think about the Medal really hurt him physically and made him think of those better than he, as if there was such a person. It would probably be great for a community to help out. I wonder if there is such a thing as citizen involvement in that kind of thing?
