Some estimates of this crisis:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedomhouse.org\/research\/freeworld\/2005\/sudan05.pdf\">Freedom House<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hrw.org\/doc?t=africa&#038;c=darfur\">Human Rights Watch<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amnestyusa.org\/countries\/sudan\/index.do\">Amnesty International<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/world\/africa\/3496731.stm\">The BBC<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.darfurinfo.org\/\">Dar Fur Information Center<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.gov\/g\/drl\/rls\/36028.htm\">The U.S. State Department<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usaid.gov\/locations\/sub-saharan_africa\/sudan\/darfur.html\">USAID<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unhcr.ch\/cgi-bin\/texis\/vtx\/chad\">UNHCR<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, <strong>Eddie<\/strong> at <a href=\"http:\/\/fdnf.typepad.com\/live_from_the_fdnf\/\"><strong>Live from the FDNF<\/strong> <\/a>is hosting a <strong>Spotlight on Dar Fur 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The atrocities in Sudan are not too large, too remote or too dangerous to be dealt with by the great powers.
