While, to a certain extent, it might be young Scipio&#8217;s or middling Fabius Maximus&#8217;, the history that rolled down through Boy and Boy groupies like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Livy\">Titus Livius Patavinus<\/a>\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plutarch\">Lucius Mestrius Plutarchus<\/a>\u00a0is Gaius Laelius&#8217; history.<\/p>\n<p>He gave Boy an offer he couldn&#8217;t refuse. A rising Scipio lifts all Laelii.<\/p>\n<p>Laelius\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Horatius_Cocles\">was at the bridge<\/a> between Scipio&#8217;s current controversy and future immortality.
