FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY<\/span><\/<><br \/><\/span><\/b><b><span style=\"font-size:180%;\"><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.aktualne.centrum.cz\/72\/47\/724750-than-shwe.jpg\" \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-size:130%;color:#ff0000;\">Senior General Than Shwe of Burma<\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-size:130%;color:#ff0000;\"><\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong>Than Shwe<\/strong> and all members of the instrumentalities under his authority as commander-in-chief and Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council, are accused of crimes including, but not limited to, actions defined under <strong>Article II<\/strong>. and <strong>Article II.<\/strong>  of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.preventgenocide.org\/law\/convention\/text.htm\">The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide<\/a><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#336666;\">&#8220;Article II: In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#336666;\">(a) Killing members of the group;(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group. <\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span style=\"color:#336666;\"><\/span><\/strong><br \/><a name=\"III\"><strong><span style=\"color:#336666;\">Article III: The following acts shall be punishable: <\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#336666;\">(a) Genocide;(b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;(c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;(d) Attempt to commit genocide;(e) Complicity in genocide. &#8220;<\/span><\/strong><a name=\"IV\"><\/a><a name=\"III\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The mass and systemic suppression and extrajudicial murder of Buddhist monks and ongoing ethnic cleansing campaigns against the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/asia-pacific\/257514.stm\">Karen<\/a> minority qualify for a referral to the UNSC for the establishment of an international tribunal to investigate, indict and try Burmese leaders suspected of crimes against humanity and genocide.<\/p>\n<p><!-- Free Burma!
