These aren&#8217;t a bunch of woolly mullahs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Woolly mullahs, Julian? I don&#8217;t know &#8212; but I too like the reference to white smoke and papal elections.  <\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p>For those who don&#8217;t like the deal &#8212; me, I don&#8217;t feel well-enough informed to want to comment &#8212; here&#8217;s <strong>Omer Bar-Lev<\/strong>&#8216;s view, as presented in a <em>Times of Israel<\/em> piece titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/labor-mk-compared-to-strike-deal-is-far-superior\/\">Labor MK: Compared to strike, deal is \u2018far superior\u2019<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Considering the achievements such as the dismantling of [Iran\u2019s] stockpile of uranium enriched to 20 percent, reducing the number of centrifuges, halting construction of the heavy water facility [in Arak], all the while the sanctions of Iranian oil and banking industries continue \u2014 compared to the alternative of a military strike at this point \u2014 it is clear that the agreement reached is far superior&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>John Schindler<\/strong>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/20committee\/status\/404699540386611201\">tweeted<\/a> comment:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bar-Lev is no softie, he&#8217;s the former CO of Sayeret MATKAL, the IDF&#8217;s top SOF unit.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>and ah, yes, his <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/20committee\/status\/404699670821081088\">next tweet<\/a>: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I think it&#8217;s too soon to tell; I have no faith in Tehran.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ll buy &#8220;too early to tell&#8221; &#8212; curious, hopeful, wary, that&#8217;s me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ by Charles Cameron &#8212; Iranian diplo communiqu\u00e9 on Twitter uses Vatican imagery, huh? ] .
