Friends of ThreatsWatch will know these gentlemen from their work at <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/rethinkingsecurity.typepad.com\/\"><strong>Rethinking Security<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/\"><strong>Zen Pundit<\/strong><\/a><strong> and <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/naxaliterage.com\/\"><strong>Naxalite Rage<\/strong><\/a><strong>, respectively. We are honored that such astute, creative intellectuals find value in collaborating with us in our efforts to build Think Tank 2.0, and we are looking forward to the discussions that will inevitably flow from the analysis and opinions they will be sharing.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is somewhat different than the blogging relationships I have with other sites like <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/chicagoboyz.net\/\">Chicagoboyz<\/a><\/strong> or <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.progressivehistorians.com\/\"><strong>Progressive Historians<\/strong> <\/a>which is about political, historical or intellectual\u00a0discussion via blogging\u00a0or with <strong>Pajamas Media,<\/strong> which is business.\u00a0While I will periodically\u00a0make tight and focused national security related posts, joining <strong>Threatswatch.org<\/strong>\u00a0is for long term collaboration on more substantive endeavors ( kind of like&#8230;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1934840807?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=zenpundit-20&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creativeASIN=1934840807\">this<\/a>)\u00a0with the\u00a0excellent individuals it has\u00a0on the roster\u00a0as well as the talent I know\u00a0they will recruit or partner with\u00a0in the future.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/haftofthespear.com\/publications\/2008\/03\/the-think-tank-is-dead-long-li\/\">Think Tank 2.0<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you to Michael Tanji for welcoming me to the Threatswatch.org team: Welcome to ThreatsWatch It is with considerable pleasure that we welcome Adam Elkus, Mark Safranski and Shlok Vaiyda as contributors to ThreatsWatch.
