Gray Davis facing a recall campaign that could result in a special gubernatorial election as early as fall, Schwarzenegger&#8217;s political ambitions could be speeded up. <\/p>\n<p>But Schwarzenegger&#8217;s political adviser, George Gorton, said the statement did not represent a change in the Austrian-born actor&#8217;s thinking. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The bottom line fact is he hasn&#8217;t decided whether he&#8217;s going to run or not if the recall qualifies, and he&#8217;s so terribly busy right now,&#8221; Gorton said. <\/p>\n<p>He said Schwarzenegger, 55, would decide whether to run after the July 2 release of &#8220;Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,&#8221; and only if it becomes clear the recall will qualify for the ballot.
