Goldman Sachs<\/strong> and other banksters wrangled swine flu vaccines ahead of most medical workers and high risk patients<\/a>. Nice.<\/p>\n

Do not hold your breath waiting for a Congressional investigation or a New York Times<\/em><\/strong> or Newsweek<\/em><\/strong> expose of how this happened and who is responsible.\u00a0Much like when we endured the\u00a0ridiculously laudatory coverage of the death of the corrupt and not especially pro-American\u00a0Benazir Bhutto<\/strong>,\u00a0 whose Ivy League matriculation and socializing with the American elite decades ago\u00a0ensured her enduring American political support, plenty of MSM\u00a0senior editors went to school with these guys. And the congressional staffers with their sons.<\/p>\n

The Greco-Roman historian Polybius<\/a><\/strong> is instructive on this matter. He writes in his <\/em><\/strong>The<\/em><\/strong><\/a> <\/em><\/strong>Histories<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0:<\/p>\n

Of course, we should not be surprised. Recall during the Anthrax terror attacks how\u00a0Senators, staffers and connected Beltway bandits\u00a0who were not exposed to Anthrax, hoarded Cipro<\/strong> for themselves while the postal workers who had been endangered by bioterrorism received nothing?<\/a>\u00a0The mail guys were only\u00a0peons of course. Not like they went to Harvard Business School or Yale Law or anything….<\/p>\n

It is a good counterpoint and worth reading – though I still find the damage control effort of the public health official cited\u00a0 by FM to not be terribly convincing, the program would at least seem to be legal.
