I don&#8217;t recall the Clinton administration stalwarts, currently engaged kibbitzing on North Korean policy, reacting with alacrity or even a public comment.  If there was at any time in the last 100 years an administration more careless with national security, more obtuse to America&#8217;s national interests and contemptuous of messengers bearing bad news I am hard pressed to think of it.
