{"id":47241,"date":"2015-10-19T07:21:51","date_gmt":"2015-10-19T07:21:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/?p=47241"},"modified":"2015-10-19T07:21:51","modified_gmt":"2015-10-19T07:21:51","slug":"two-flags-identified-russians-protest-putins-involvement-in-syria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/?p=47241","title":{"rendered":"Two flags identified, Russians protest Putin&#8217;s involvement in Syria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[ by <strong>Charles Cameron<\/strong> &#8212; curious to see Solidarnost and Gadsden flags together ]<br \/>\n.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m always interested in the graphics and symbolism of various groups, so when I saw this image headed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailysabah.com\/europe\/2015\/10\/17\/scores-of-russians-protest-against-putins-involvement-in-syria\">Scores of Russians protest against Putin&#8217;s involvement in Syria<\/a> on the Turkish <em>Daily Sabah<\/em> news site a couple of days ago &#8212;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/thumbs_b_c_c83e821e5be87078a17a66c541085fbd.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/thumbs_b_c_c83e821e5be87078a17a66c541085fbd.jpg\" alt=\"thumbs_b_c_c83e821e5be87078a17a66c541085fbd\" width=\"600\" height=\"341\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-47242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/thumbs_b_c_c83e821e5be87078a17a66c541085fbd.jpg 600w, https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/thumbs_b_c_c83e821e5be87078a17a66c541085fbd-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>my eye was caught by the <strong>Gadsden Flag<\/strong>, which I&#8217;m familiar with from the <strong>Tea Party<\/strong> and indeed <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/chicagoboyz.net\/\">ChicagoBoyz<\/a><\/strong> &#8212;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/gadsden.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/gadsden.gif\" alt=\"gadsden\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-47248\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I began checking with my friends to see whether anyone recognized the orange and blue flag, which a couple of friends read as saying <em>Solidarnos..<\/em>, which in turn led me to this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ODD_Solidarnost.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ODD_Solidarnost.png\" alt=\"ODD_Solidarnost\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-47244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ODD_Solidarnost.png 240w, https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ODD_Solidarnost-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>with <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Solidarnost\">Solidarnost<\/a> being &#8220;a Russian liberal democratic political movement founded on 13 December 2008 by a number of well-known members of the liberal democratic opposition, including Garry Kasparov, Boris Nemtsov and others..&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p>I am curious &#8212; does it make sense for these two flags to fly together? And can anyone source the blue flag with the white &#8220;V&#8221; insignia?
