Iran’s complex internal political dynamic which is entirely unlike Iraq under Saddam’s personalized totalitarian regime, makes it difficult to assess the extent to which any constructive move on nuclear issues or terrorism indicates sincerity or a simple concession by the hardliners to play for time until they can regain undisputed authority over moderate reformist Islamists and pro-democracy activists.<\/p>\n
Two articles posted on Iranexpert.com exemply this dichotomy.
