The question which caught my eye was this one:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/LOGOPHILE-QUESTION-ONLY.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"592\" height=\"621\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-67192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/LOGOPHILE-QUESTION-ONLY.png 592w, https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/LOGOPHILE-QUESTION-ONLY-286x300.png 286w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" \/><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ve isolated it from a screen grab and placed it in the upper panel of my <strong>DoubleQuotes<\/strong> board, leaving the lower panel open for possible answers: Question and Answer, like Call and Response, would seem to be elementary forms of <strong>DoubleQuote<\/strong> play, just as <strong>DoubleQuotes<\/strong> are the elementary forms of <strong>HipBone Game<\/strong> moves, and HipBone Games elementary essays in rendering <strong>Hermann Hesse<\/strong>&#8216;s fictional <strong>Glass Bead Game<\/strong> playable.<\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p>I then used Google to find the correct answer to our question, and placed it in the lower panel:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/LOGOPHILE-q-a.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"592\" height=\"621\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-67193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/LOGOPHILE-q-a.png 592w, https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/LOGOPHILE-q-a-286x300.png 286w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" \/><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That&#8217;s my play.<\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p>And why do I trouble you with such a trifle?<\/p>\n<p>Because asking a <strong>logophile <\/strong>what the word <strong>logophile <\/strong>means is an <strong>ouroboros <\/strong>&#8212; a serpent that bites its own tail &#8212; another of the elementary forms of the <strong>HipBone Games<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/serpent-eats-hipbone.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"337\" height=\"341\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-67195\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/serpent-eats-hipbone.png 337w, https:\/\/zenpundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/serpent-eats-hipbone-296x300.png 296w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 337px) 100vw, 337px\" \/><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ by Charles Cameron &#8212; a DoubleQuote that suggested itself to me today, posted here for your contemplative enjoyment ] .
