Silber, unlike many commentators who venture forth on Objectivism, actually knew Ayn Rand and attended the lectures run by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nathanielbranden.net\/fs\/new.html\">Nathaniel Branden<\/a> prior to his &#8221; excommunication&#8221; over the end of the extramarital affair he was having with Rand.
