    Please, the source who started the Rumor is Michael Ledeen. You know? The guy involved in Iran-Contra, the guy who had links to the yellowcake forgeries, and finally, a guy who believes France and Germany are nefariously backing Islamic forces all over the planet to bring down the U.S.A.

    Please consider your sources next time.

    This is about as stupid as the Internet hype over “Hezbollah radio hackers”.

    Then again Ledeen and his cronies could be up to something. Starting the rumor of a leaders death as a pretext to war, and internal Iranian social upheaval in response to said death, would be some useful disinformation.
