KERRY AND REGIME CHANGE Why has no one remarked on the fact that Kerry’s comments are not so much offensive as just plain stupid ? The implications of his remarks are not that he opposes Bush policies during wartime – no kidding, the Democratic primary process is dominated by anti-war types- but that the United States can only legitimately secure its interests through the validation of foreign powers and international bodies. How exactly did Saddam’s lawyer Chirac and ex-Red Brigades terrorist supporter Joschka Fischer become thev legitimizer of American national interests ? Someone should ask the Senator and latest ersatz JFK to explain that one.
