    Was it in the Social Edge forum that ThomasBarnett’s book, The Pentagon’s New Map, was first introduced? I think maps, both the geographic type, and concept maps, can serve as platforms to connect people around the world with each other, and complex ideas and solutions. However, to use the maps effectively requires a commitment of time for learning, for sharing, and for network building, as well as a commitment to hosting the datamaps and keeping them updated.
