BRIEF ADVISORY
If you have been following the excoriating exchanges between Pundita and Collounsbury ( well,..Col was doing the rum-fueled excoriating, Pundita’s replies are mostly oblique sweetness and light- except for a brief burst of gigantic type font, since removed) these last few days, a commenter at Col’s referred to a site ” Antipundita” on blogger.
That site in question is a mock-up trolling for email addresses among other nasty things. It is my strong sugggestion that you do not send yours or even visit the site.
That is all.

erm – no it’s not – I created it because I was so incensed by pundita’s blog.
There shouldn’t be any devious code on it at all. The template code is an adaption of Pundita’s, with her personal stuff removed.
Whether you avoid it at all is your own risk, but I have absolutely no interest in “harvesting” people’s email addresses.

Hi secretdubai
Correlation ain’t causation I realize but I’m kind of fastidious about my computer ever since a couple of jackasses out West began sending me infected email a couple of years ago.I check each time I boot it began going awry shortly after visiting Antipundita.
If you are on the level then it this was simply an unhappy coinicidence and I’m sorry for casting unwarranted aspersions –
I don’t have a problem with your being incensed at Pundita ( or Col for that matter) I just didn’t want Col’s peeps having similar computer snafus.

Well do let me know what went wrong when you visited and I will recheck the code, but believe me, having been a virus recipient, it’s something I’d never do to others. I have a Mac now, so if there is something there, it probably isn’t affecting me.
She’s regrettably turned what you wrote into an outright lie, but if that’s her line of defence, it’s a free world!
I’ll take the blog down when she allows comments, like a proper blogger

When I’m not certain exactly – it was shortly after “Istara” posted and I posted at Col’s. The computer apps began to freeze up/not open, could not shutdown/reboot or close the programs thru the task manager accompanied by an unpleasant whirring sound.
Cleaned out tracking objects, mostly common low risk a few ” other” that were higher, ran Norton and a couple other programs until they came up dry. Works fine now, which is good because it’s still almost new.
I’ll add a disclaimer to the post if you wish.

Sure. I have checked and asked a couple of (PC-using) friends to. I’m guessing if there is something malicious in my code, Blogger will rapidly block/delete the site.
Hope you don’t get the problems again. I know what a nightmare it can be – I’ve had several tearful, sleepless nights through malware.

I don’t see anything malicious(in terms of computer code) on that site, other than the all too typical broken html and css.
