I finally read Gibson’s “Neuromancer”.. can we say “mind-f#@!?” There are so many concepts to wrap one’s head around, rather a dizzying, delightful experience. I still find Stephenson’s “The Diamond Age” & “Snow Crash” more useful for trying to envision possible futures because there’s more precious more details on the worlds portrayed. Simplistic view probably, but I am happy to have followed your posts about Gibson and read it.

Mark, have you seen the new google tool entitled Knol? The concept and screen shot looks interesting.

Just wanted to say: Your new site is truly excellent. I love the layout and style and mechanics, which are a great leap above the old site!

Gracias Curtis ! I shall pass your kind words on to Mrs. Z !
Eddie,
Lke you, I’m impressed with Gibson’s ability to jump ahead of the curve so well as a writer. A rare gift. I’m currently reading Virtual Light.

This format gets f’d up when my computer is at 800×600 resolution. The whole left side of the page is cut off, and I can’t scroll over to see it in my browser. Any way to fix it?

Hi James,
The site was designed for 1024 x 768 because a majority of people use that resolution or larger; at decreasing resolutions ( or on handhelds) the site won’t automatically "compact" down proportionately and I’m not sure how that can be addressed without creating distortions somewhere else. Your best bet is to use a larger resolution or read ZP on an RSS aggregator like Google reader or Blogbridge where it won’t be an issue.

The site looks great in my Ipod Touch, which I use for reading and browsing while at the airport and other places with wireless internet.Unlike other blogs, it seems your site won’t allow posting comments in the Ipod Touch Safari, you can type your name and email address but when you get to the comment box it is disable. Not that I would use the ipod for making many comments, it is really not very practical for long posts, but it comes handy when you have something quick to say. I would like to be able to make one just like in other sites. Also, when initially typing "zenp" the little Safari browser immediately guessed your address even though I had typed it before.Same as with the Safari in my Macbook, the name of the user appears all the way to the right of the box.Hope that helps.
