Zenpundit….WINNING!

Note to the Readership:

If you are experiencing any difficulties connecting to zenpundit.com it is because we are currently under a DDoS attack and have been for several days. My hosting company technical support are aware of the problem and are monitoring the situation. Generally, small blogs escape this kind of nonsense but perhaps I shouldn’t underestimate my ability to irritate the intolerant. Personally, I suspect the Clausewitzians. 🙂

If the IT adept among you notice any shenanigans when connecting, leave a comment or drop me an email and I will pass it on.

I doubt it would be Clausewitzians. Clausewitzians have a strong tradition of decisive battle and would have knocked the site down quickly. Ongoing ticky-tack DDOS is more of a 4GW thing.

I think there were some Boyd/OODA posts when Wilf Owen thought about it

  4. Joseph Fouche Says:

It’s my understanding that Boyd could take down a website just by head butting it.

You must be saying something that counts. But you may be saved by the infighting or their lack of attention.  http://blogs.forbes.com/andygreenberg/2011/03/18/ex-anonymous-hackers-plan-to-out-groups-members/

  6. Shlok Says:

Clausewitzians would still be fumbling through their Good Book looking for something to do with their abacuses while muttering something about connectivity not existing. Boyd would have just taken down the internet.

Shlok, you obviously don’t know much about Clausewitzians . . .

Clausewitzians are all for open discussion, rather against narrow dogmatic speculation, of which there is little here .  .  . so consider us friendly.  Besides we think it better that bad ideas collapse under their own contradictions . . . as they always do.   Clausewitz has been around for going on 200 years – longer than Marx’s political ideas lasted – and Boyd’s looking pretty worn after what?  30?

I would suspect renegade Boydians, probably of the van Creveldian type .  .  . you haven’t been giving them enough reverant attention recently and they seemingly aren’t happy .  . .
