I knew that Tom Friedman’s ‘Golden Arches Theory’ was debunked, but I had held out hope for the Donut Theory, to no avail it now appears. Exporting capitalism constantly comes back to bite us. I suppose the consequence of that is the Lincoln Bedroomization of these rock n’ rust luminaries.
