Some while Back, I posted a piece titled Concerning the enforcement of morals, in which I quoted the upper section of this DoubleQuote:

That’s it: fair and balanced modesty.

    I recall talking with an old gent who’d been a doctor to some Saudi nobility, his description of what it was like *under* those voluminous folds .. well .. “beggars the imagination” might begin to impart the sense of utter unspeakable atrocity .. Kurtz’s words in Apocalypse now also go some distance, “the horror, the horror” ..

    The men in the picture are in Syria, the shopkeeper was in London…
