    Surely, David Siegel’s promo video for his own book falls foul of several of Doctorow’s "insurmountable obstacles"? Nerd hubris, indeed.

    Best of many quotes from Doctorow’s piece: "Requiring everyone to use the same vocabulary to describe their material denudes the cognitive landscape, enforces homogeneity in ideas." Exactly.
